They have good breakfast burritos and a great taco Tuesday. The street tacos for $1.25 are full of meat and they have a good amount of choices. We love the carnitas, chicken, and pastor here. They are attentive at plain, with onions or no cilantro. They give you green & red sauces also along with some radishes and pickled carrots.
Tacos are so good. Even better on Tuesdays for 1.25 My son loves the asada fries. Price is decent here We had asada, chicken, pastor and carnita Every meat is seasoned well
Great food and great service. Got the 4 chicken taquitos and Carne Asada Burrito. The food was great and very reasonable prices.
Probably the cheapest meal you will find on a Tuesday that's about 1.5 miles from Disneyland with their $1.25 a taco on Tuesday. They are small tacos, the tortillas were pro ably about 4-5 inches in diameter. Some of the meats were kinda bland in my opinion, but what can I expect from a $1.25 taco vs a taco that's $3-4
TACO TUESDAY TACO TUESDAY TACO TUESDAY This review is just for the tacos ;) First I'd like to mention the family that runs this shop are all so nice and sweet! Now to the food.. I am so happy to have discovered this hole in the wall really close to Disneyland. The tacos I had here were all super flavorful and delicious, and best of all it was Taco Tuesday so the tacos were only 1.25!! What an amazing deal! The Asada, Pastor, and Carnitas I ordered were all flavorful and yummy, but the carnitas, WOW, extremely flavorful and moist. Probably the best carnitas I've had in a decade. The pickled jalapeño and carrots were both yummy as well, the big pieces of carrots were perfectly pickled and had a nice crunch to them. The sauces were great; awesome flavor and a nice spicy kick. A must try, hole in the wall, awesome mom and pop shop you need to put on your foodie hit list!!
So good! I had to stop halfway through because I was enjoying it so much. Friendly and quick service for takeout orders and it seems like a cute spot for lunch. The food was perfect temp! Ordered two chicken tacos with everything on it, rice and beans, and a chicken taquito. This place reminded me how much I missed a good flour tortilla.
Ate down some of their tacos: - AL Pastor was their best, being juicy flavorful. - Chorizo tied 2nd. - Carnitas tied 2nd. -Asada was ok normal. ... all were small, but tasty. Regular price of $3.49 each isn't worth it, but at $1.25 on Tuesdays makes them nice for bites. Meat wise, I would say a little above average from the other normal, real Mexican food places in their category.
We order from them quite regularly. The food is consistently good. Love the Al Pastor. I brought some friends with me yesterday and they enjoyed it also. It's nice to support a local family business. Last year they even help me cater family party. Food was fantastic and the price was reasonable. I couldn't have purchased the items to make myself for anywhere near what they charged me.
I went there twice while in the area. The first time it was amazing, and merited another visit, but the second time it was only mediocre. Both times I got a carne asada burrito which came with chips and salsa. The meat was well-seasoned, which was a big plus. I hate it when carne asada isn't seasoned well. The burritos came with cheese, sour cream, a little guac, rice, and beans. The tortillas were grilled which was nice. The only issue, and the difference between the first visit (5 stars) and the second (3 stars) was the rice. My first visit had a generous amount of meat, cheese etc in the burrito and had a great flavor. The second time there was an unfortunate amount of rice which took away from the other flavors. Hopefully that was just a bad day! I also ordered a pastor taco the second time. The taco was large and had a lot of meat on it. The chips were very fresh and salted the first time but bit the second time. All in all, the portions were good and the prices were good as well. Based on the other reviews I'd say this place is worth trying. Hopefully your experience will be more like my first time than my second.
